The 7th game of the National League Championship Series was played between the St. Louis Cardinals and the New York Mets, in the home of the metropolitan.

With a partner on board and one out on the board, the Puerto Rican receiver Yadier Molina connected a home run, which put the Red Birds to win the match 3-1 and consequently got their pass to the Fall Classic, which would eventually win the Tigers from Detroit.
